Oh dear. Or I could say yay. But I can't say either, because I dunno the results yet.
Today was the day of the first round of spelling bee. My parents got a letter yesterday informing them due to the spelling test we had done a week ago and my good result, I was picked for the Spelling Bee. At the end our technology lesson, Sandra called me to come with her to B20 (one of the english rooms at my school) and so we went - the three representitives of our form - me, Molly and Sandra. When we went there we found three girls per form. We were to be competing against 8 different classes. Oh God. There were two teachers at a desk, one with blonde hair and a kind smile, one with brown hair and a butterfly hairclip.
"We have to do well in this. Try your absolute best," Said Molly to me and Sandra."
"Okay, girls! Listen up, half of you will be thrown out this week. If you do well, you will stay. However four classes will go out." Said The Brown-haired teacher.
I chocked on my sandwhich, my eyes bulging as me, Sandra and Molly gasped.
We each individually had to stand up, and spell out words. Not me, Sandra and Molly together, individually. Form A's first person came to the front. Then B. My God, as I listened - sat in the chair - I gasped. They were so easy - glamourous, determined, because, deluded, and ect.!!! I heard some girls spell wrong though. Then it was my turn. And, I can tell you after I had finished, I nearly burst into tears. So did Molly and Sandra. I can't beleive it. Those two teachers! How unfair - they gave me such hard questions, and yet the other groups just had to spell because and friendship!! They gave me long long long words no-one knew the meanings of! Plus, I have proof - Half the spelling bee girls laughed explosively in tease as they heard all the really complicated words I was given. As I went back to Molly and Sandra, Molly gasped.
"Oh my god! Thats so unfair. Everyone else got simple ones!" And Sandra nodded.
Next week, I hope they don't chuck me out! And pray that I get easy ones!
Other than that, my day was good. It was fun in P.E when I was Grace's partner and we did a routine, and our test in science was a doddle as I revised 30 mins for it last night.
